Parrot Peak Summit Trail

Set within the Príncipe Natural Park, Parrot Peak is one of the island’s most iconic natural landmarks. This demanding hike, best suited to experienced hikers, winds through dense rainforest towards the 680 m summit of Pico Papagaio. Along the trail, discover a rich ecosystem of towering oca trees, fluttering butterflies and a host of spectacular orchids, all thriving within this protected sanctuary.

At the summit, sweeping panoramas reveal the wild, untamed beauty of the island.
